🚨 Jazz Shoes 🚨
Many of you have asked if we have a recommended supplier for Jazz Shoes - we do! Please make sure all students in Main School (Stage 1, 2 & 3) wear their Jazz Shoes to class each week as they are part of the Stagecoach Uniform.

Early Stages
Early Stages have made fantastic progress this week as they brought more structure and polish to their performance! In Drama, students focused on memorising lines and projecting their individual moments clearly, while also setting the opening and finale sequences for the show. In Singing, they continued polishing Can You Feel The Love Tonight, placing emphasis on dynamics and emotional storytelling, while also bringing fresh energy to Hakuna Matata. Over in Dance, the focus was on performance quality — using facial expression and confident movement while improving spatial awareness and timing. It’s clear how much the group have grown over the last few weeks — their enthusiasm is shining through and everything is starting to come together beautifully!

Stage 1
Stage 1 brought great energy and focus to their sessions this week as they continued working on their Oscars pieces. In Dance, they concentrated on building energy, refining trick sections, and using facial expression to enhance performance. In Drama, students worked on Finding Nemo with a focus on memorising lines, using different levels, and building clear physicality to tell the story. Over in Singing, the group tackled rhythm exercises to tighten up diction and dynamics, while also perfecting lyric memorisation to ensure clarity and confidence throughout the song. Stage 1 are working hard across the board, and their performances are growing stronger each week!

Stage 2
Stage 2 tackled their sessions with real determination this week as they pushed forward with their final preparations. In Dance, they focused on the technique of leaps, building strength and confidence to dance in unison with power and style. In Drama, the group developed their Narnia battle scene, using creative movement, well-placed levels, and strong character contrast to bring the story to life. In Singing, students explored the impact of gesture and facial expression in performance, using simple choreography and expressive storytelling to elevate their delivery. They also spent time polishing the trickier sections of the piece — particularly the higher harmonies. Stage 2 are performing with real intent, and the results are beginning to shine through!

Stage 3
Stage 3 took big strides forward this week across all disciplines as they near the final stages of their Oscars work. In Dance, the group finished their second routine with a strong, confident ending and worked on catwalk-style sections to sharpen their performance presence. In Drama, students developed the presentation of their Oscars speeches and deepened their devised work with a focus on advanced characterisation and more layered delivery. In Singing, they explored singing in a round, fine-tuned their group movements, and placed particular emphasis on expression and polishing the more subtle moments within the song. Stage 3 are showing growing maturity and ownership of their pieces — and it’s all coming together beautifully.
