🎥 Spring Term 2026 Has Arrived! 📚

Happy New Year! 🎉 I hope you all had a lovely Christmas. We are, once again, excited to welcome all our students back and some new faces to our brilliant groups, we can't wait for the term to begin.

A quick reminder that you are reading this newsletter on our Stagecoach Horsforth Parent Portal. You can access the Main Menu by clicking on the three horizontal lines in the top right corner; here you'll be able to find useful information you need for your child's classes.

🎭 What's Happening This Term?

As we move into Spring Term 2026, we’re looking forward to what the new term has in store across all our classes. While each group will be working on something different, every student will be focusing on developing essential performance skills, strengthening teamwork and, above all, having fun throughout the term.

🎥 Early Stages – Pop Term (Skills Term)

Following Main School’s fantastic Music Videos, our Early Stages performers will be stepping into their very own Pop Term! Throughout the term, children will explore both classic and modern pop music through movement, expression and performance in a supportive environment. All of this exciting work will lead towards creating their own Music Video to 'Can’t Stop The Feeling!' - we can’t wait to see their confidence shine. Filming dates can be found here, and once edited, the finished videos will be emailed out for you to enjoy.

📚 Main School – Matilda (Show Term)

Following an exciting Music Video term, our Main School performers will now be stepping into Show Term, themed around the much-loved story of Matilda. Throughout the term, students will explore character, storytelling and performance as they rehearse scenes, songs and choreography from this bold and brilliant world. With a focus on confidence, teamwork and expressive performance, the cast will work together towards bringing this powerful story to life on stage; we can’t wait to see the magic unfold. ❄️ Friday Further Stages & Saturday Stage 3 – Frozen

In Spring Term 2026, our advanced groups will continue their exciting journey with Frozen, building on the strong foundations laid last term. As rehearsals intensify, students will refine character choices, storytelling and musical theatre technique - developing greater depth, precision and confidence within this much-loved production. With a strong focus on ensemble work and performance polish, the cast will bring this magical world to life on stage at the beginning of March - click here for details.
