New Principal Autumn Term 2025

Dear Parents,

Thank you very much for all your lovely messages and support following the announcement that I’ll be taking over as Principal of Stagecoach Horsforth from the Autumn Term. I’m really excited about this next chapter and I wanted to take a moment to properly introduce myself and share a bit about what’s coming up.

For those of you I haven’t met yet – I’m Andy! I’ve been working with the Friday School for the last few years and have loved seeing those students grow in confidence and really come into their own. Over the last five weeks, I’ve also had the chance to start getting to know the Saturday School - thank you for such a warm welcome! It’s already been a real highlight of my week and I’m looking forward to getting to know more of you over the rest of the term.

There’s so much to look forward to before the Autumn Term: 'The Lion King' Show with Early Stages, our 'Stagecoach Oscars Ceremony' for Main School and Further Stages and, of course, our Summer Holiday Camps! There’s a real buzz at the moment; I’m loving seeing the energy and excitement in class!

Behind the scenes, I’ve also been planning ahead for some brilliant opportunities next year and beyond. It was a pleasure to take our Stage 3 and Further Stages students to the Victoria Theatre last month for the Halifax Showcase and we’ve just confirmed our cohort for the Dance the Dream 2026 Event in Disneyland Paris too! There are other local and regional events in the works - please watch this space!
