Week 12 - Friday 18th July
Summer Term 2025 is officially in the books! 🎉 Congratulations to all our students for a fantastic term; Andy and the team have loved seeing the development of our students' confidence and skills over the last 12 sessions - in our Show Term for Early Stages and Demonstration Term for Main School/Further Stages. Thank you to all our families for such a brilliant Summer Term; I hope you all have a lovely Summer Holiday and we can't wait to welcome you all back in September to continue developing Creative Courage For Life.
Early Stages

Stage 1
Stage 1 finished the term with loads of energy and creativity! In Drama, the group shared their favourite films before working together to create freeze frames that captured their favourite scenes, later bringing them to life in short performances. It was such a joy to see how confidently they worked in groups and shared ideas. In Singing, they wrapped up If Only You Would Listen from School of Rock—singing it through with great rhythm and timing, helped by a fun musical activity to get us started. Dance was full of personality this week as they worked on stage walks, partner work and adding confidence to every move. They even created their own mini choreo with a friend—what a brilliant way to end the term!
Stage 2
Stage 2 brought real focus and fun to their final week of term. In Drama, they created freeze frame sequences based on their favourite films, using three key moments (beginning, middle and end) to explore character and plot. They showed great collaboration and creative thinking across the board. Singing kicked off with their own custom warm-up themed around Stagecoach—hilarious and very tuneful! They then polished off Oh, The Thinks You Can Think from Seussical with real energy and imagination. Dance was packed with skill-building, from advanced stretching and flexibility work to breakdancing drills (including Zulu spins!) and group choreography challenges. Each group even took on the role of teacher to share their routines—such a confident finish to the term!
Stage 3
Stage 3 ended the term on a real high, showing just how much they’ve grown over the last few months. In Drama, they took the reins and led multiple activities; warm-ups, games, and even a student-led improv activity! It was amazing to see their leadership, creativity and support for one another shine through. Singing, Stage 3 focused on activities which develop rhythm and timing. This was supported by a student-guided selection of music! In Dance, the group took on a mix of strength, flexibility and breakdancing drills—those Zulu spins are getting slick! They wrapped up by creating and teaching their own routines, with a huge emphasis on teamwork and performance. A brilliant way to celebrate an inspiring term!
Further Stages
Frozen Jr - Autumn Term 2025!
We’re thrilled to announce that our Further Stages show for next term will be Frozen! ❄️ Get ready to bring the magic of Arendelle to life with powerful songs, unforgettable characters, and a story that celebrates love, courage, and being true to yourself. We can’t wait to see our students take on this wintry musical adventure – it’s going to be an incredible term!

Further Stages ended the term with a brilliant burst of creativity and performance flair. In Singing, the group brought fantastic focus to both You Will Be Found and Money, Money, Money, refining their performance technique and working on expressive delivery. Many also began shaping their own choreography, bringing individuality and storytelling into their work. The energy continued in Dance, where they took part in a fun and empowering SIX workshop—diving into the show’s distinctive style with slick movements, dynamic use of levels, and strong isolations. It was a bold, confident way to wrap up a fantastic term, and a great springboard into next year’s Show Term! We just can't wait to get started with Frozen!
